Hike up your skirts and start untying your corsets because Harlots returns to Hulu July 10. The period drama from creators Moira Buffini and Alison Newman is exactly what you think it’s about: sex workers.

It takes place in 18th century London where Margaret Wells (Samantha Morton) balances her personal life with her professional one. Her job, of course, is operating a brothel. Those two worlds collide frequently, as her children are part of the family business. But it’s not as bad as it sounds.

The witty script provides deeper meanings to what viewers see on screen. The whole point of the show is to empower women and encourage them to embrace their sexuality. Those women are smart enough to manipulate their way to the top and skilled enough to have those same people fork up the money.

Season three, which will debut two of its eight episodes July 10, will introduce another brothel. This time, it’s filled with extremely hot men with a nice layer of sweat (after all, there was no central air). It’s shaping up to be a sexy season, especially with its cast of Lesley Manville, Jessica Brown Findlay, Kate Fleetwood and Liv Tyler. Game of Thrones alumnus Alfie Allen (aka Theon aka Reek) will join the cast and so will Ash Hunter. With some competition in the realm, it’s going to be better and steamier than ever.
