5 Sexy Girl on Girl Music Videos

BY: Rudie Obias

Sexuality is fluid and these recording artists, who usually veer straight, go full-speed ahead for queer. Here are PROVOKR’s picks for the five hottest, steamiest girl-on-girl music videos.

“On Your Side” by The Veronicas

In 2016, Australian twin pop stars Lisa Origliasso and Jessica Origliasso A.K.A. The Veronicas recruited a fellow Aussie Ruby Rose to write and direct their music video “On Your Side.” Not only did Ruby Rose direct it, she also co-starred in the video with the Origliasso Sisters, who each take turns fooling around with the model/actress.

While it’s pretty hot and steamy, especially with some sweet Street Fighter II action, the music video takes a dark turn, as it also features relationships dealing with drug addiction.

“When I first heard the song, I was drawn to the lyrics. Some songs tell the first chapter of a story; others only tell the last, but here, I was listening to a full narrative of someone’s sincere experience with love,” Ruby Rose said in a statement. “It stood out to me, and like any great narrative, [I] wanted to know what was going to happen next… The only thing is I threw out the original concept for the the night before shooting, when I realized how many times they had used cars in previous videos. I wrote the treatment for what stands as the video today as an 11th hour revision.”

“Te Amo” by Rihanna

Released in 2010, Rihanna dropped the single “Te Amo” (“I Love You”) from her fourth album Rated R. It also came with a music video, directed by Anthony Mandler, that was filmed in Vigny, France and featured French supermodel Laetitia Casta in as a femme fatale. The song is just flat out sexy and the accompanied music video is just twice as steamy with Rihanna and Laetitia Casta gyrating around, as they seduce each other in a hot French villa throughout.

“Curious” by Hayley Kiyoko

Disney Channel star turned singer/songwriter Hayley Kiyoko dropped the single “Curious” earlier this year, as it breaks away from her Mouse House roots with a super hot music video — which she directed herself with James Larese. It features the 26-year-old pop star navigating through a party, while Kiyoko’s new lover tries to decide between her or the boyfriend.

While the build up might be slow, it’s worth it for the jaw-dropping climax, which features Kiyoko and her lover steaming up the mirrors in a locked bathroom. It’s really sexy, as she asks, “I’m just curious, is it serious?”

“Ghost” by Halsey

In 2015, Halsey released the alternative version of the music video for her hit single “Ghost.” While the first version featured the pop star making out with a sexy boyfriend, the alternative version featured Halsey making out with a sexy Japanese woman instead in a Lost In translation-esque music video set in Tokyo, Japan. When asked about the change, she responded,

“I was pretty much like, ‘ok, enough videos of me and some male lead making out,’” she told The FADER. “I wanted to approach this one from a different perspective.”

It’s believed Halsey prefers the alternative version, and who could blame her. It’s steamier and more passionate than the original.

Demi Lovato – “Cool For The Summer”

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis in 2015, Demi Lovato released the music video for “Cool For The Summer” and it’s her steamiest yet! “Cool for the Summer” marked a turning point in Lovato’s pop music career, as took on a sexier persona with black latex and seductive fishnets. The music video feature Lovato arriving to a party with her friends just before the night goes completely wild and sexually suggestive. It’s smokin’ hot!
