Ariana’s Sexy New Video

Break Up With Your Girlfriend? More Like Break Up With The Grammys.

While Ariana Grande was preparing for the release of her new album thank u, next and the single “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored,” the 25-year-old was breaking up with the Grammys. Due to creative differences, Grande backed out of performing at music’s biggest night — and it was the Grammys that missed out.

Though the Grammys were above average and featured a slew of powerful performances from women, it missed the pop perfection that is Ariana Grande. But for those who were disappointed Ari wasn’t at the Grammys, fear not because she showed off her beautiful gown on Instagram and debuted her video for “break up your girlfriend, i’m bored,” which already has more than 40 million views in five days.

And the video does not disappoint. It was released the same day as her already popular album thank u, next, which is heading for a debut on Billboard’s Hot 200 chart. But back to the music video.

Grande finds herself in an unusual love triangle with Riverdale actor Charles Melton and model Ariel Yasmine. When Yasmine calls Grande over in the club to dance with her and her boyfriend, Ari turns on the sex appeal (more than she already does). The three of them dance, as we all imagine the throuple we hope will happen.

Grande attends their party, and Melton is taken aback by the similarities between the two women. Grande appears to seduce Melton, but it becomes clear that is not where her desire lies.

In the pool, Grande watches the couple cozy up to one another. She wades her way over, and as the last seconds of the song play, the two women lean in for a steamy kiss. The rest is up to our imagination (and it definitely involves leaving the man in the pool).

Grande is the biggest name in the music industry right now, and the Grammys should have let her do her thang. She’s obviously doing a lot right, and we should bow down to the current Queen of Pop and put creative differences aside. It’s only the right thing to do.
