Margot Robbie: Terminal

Two Hitmen Get More Than They Bargained For

Terminal is shaping up to be the most mysterious film of the summer. The trailer dropped this week, seemingly out of nowhere, promising a film noir thriller of sensuality, violence and deceit, three of our favorite things!

Despite being the feature debut of writer/director Vaughn Stein (who worked as an assistant director on movies like World War Z and The Danish Girl), he was still able to assemble an all-star cast for the movie.

Margot Robbie, Simon Pegg, and Dexter Fletcher will appear in the film, as well as the great Mike Myers, who has been largely absent from studio films for the better part of a decade. The actual plot of the film is a complete enigma, though the official synopsis intrigues us with the prospect of “Twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor, and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life.” All the while, a mysterious criminal mastermind lingers in the background, fueling the intertwining conflicts for reasons unknown.

The main attraction here is the beautiful and talented Margot Robbie. After starring in the short-lived ABC series, Pan Am, Robbie became a full-fledged movie star with her scene-stealing performances in movies like The Wolf of Wall Street, Z for Zachariah, and Suicide Squad . She was recently nominated for an Academy Award for her leading turn in I, Tonya, in which she threw her entire spirit into exploring the complicated life of Tonya Harding, one of the most controversial figures in the world of Olympic sports. Also, she was downright stunning in her amazing 1990’s bangs.

Terminal hits theaters on May 11.
