Léa Seydoux Seduces

She Woos Ewan McGregor in Romantic Drama, Zoe

The fabulous and oh-la-la French actress Léa Seydoux has been busy the last ten years, charming and seducing us in her often highly sexual roles. She first made us, and the Jury at the Cannes Film Festival, lose our minds in 2013’s Blue Is The Warmest Color, a coming of age romantic drama about Adèle (Adèle Exarchopoulos) who falls madly, deeply for the immensely self-assured, blue-haired Emma (Seydoux). In fact, in an unprecedented move, the gorgeously erotic film’s stars won Cannes’ highest award, the Palm d’Or.

Of course, Seydoux had already made a few excellent films like Inglorious Basterds (2009), Midnight in Paris (2011), and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011), playing second or third tiered roles, but her part in 2013’s Farewell My Queen, about the lesbian love life of Marie Antoinette (Diane Kruger), showed the world just how risqué she could be. And in 2015, Seydoux joined the ranks of Diana Rigg, Halle Berry, and Eva Green by becoming a Bond girl in Spectre.

This month, her latest love story, Zoe, arrives. Starring opposite Ewan McGregor—so good in the 2017 TV series, Fargothe two play lab technicians trying to perfect human romantic relationships through science. Of course, things go awry when they start to fall in love with each other without the help of their own technology. This sci-fi drama also co-stars Theo James (Divergent) as the sexy and seemingly perfect biological robot, Rashida Jones, singer Christina Aguilera, Miranda Otto (Homeland), and sexy nerd Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds). With a cast like that, the film’s gotta be hot! Zoe hits screens July 20th.

Seydoux is also appearing in the highly anticipated video game Death Stranding from gaming genius, Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear). Starring The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus (coincidentally the baby daddy to Seydoux’s Farewell My Queen co-star,  Diane Kruger), the game also features Hannibal’s Mads Mikkelsen and director Guillermo Del Toro (The Shape of Water).
