10 new U.K. acts you need to hear

The British are coming! At least we hope so—these are the bands and ballads that we can’t get enough of lately, all of them up and coming acts from the U.K. “Everlasting Road,” above, is a sexy, spooky single from the sisters of LOCK. They’ve toured with Beyonce, Mark Ronson and Jay Z, and have a debut album coming soon. “Cupid” from The Big Moon (directly below) is a single from the band’s new album, Love in the 4th Dimension, due in early April. Its slow build is seductive…and then there’s all that glitter (!). Can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

We’ve included a few more of the talented Brits who’ve caught our attention, below. We think you’ll be hearing a lot more from them in the coming year.

The Big Moon: “Cupid”

George Cosby: “Vacant Grace”

Laurel: “San Francisco”

Tom Grennan: “Something in the Water”

Dan Owen: “Made to Love You”

The Japanese House: “Face Like Thunder”

 Barns Courtney: “Glitter & Gold”

 Black Honey: “Hello Today”

 Louis Berry: “Restless”
